In the past few years many screw conveyors have been replaced by STINGER® conveyors. Most of the replaces were because of the poor flow characteristics of the powder products. The STINGER® conveyor is most effective for handling hard to flow materials like TIO2, carbon black and other pigments. It has also replace screw conveyors handling sugar, flour, and calcium carbonate.
