Swing Gate Diverter Valve

Valves used in pneumatic conveying systems where a positive diversion seal is required.
Design configuration can be either an eccentric or true “Y” to route materials in either direction.
A square cross-section is used at the swing gate area allowing precision machining of all mating surfaces. Teflon sealing strips on either side of the swing gate contact the machine surfaces providing smooth operation, low leak-age and long life.

The Model “C” Diverter Valves are designed with each diversion leg offset 30° from the inlet leg.

Rotary Plug Diverter Valve

RotaryPlug Diverter ValvesThe Rotary Plug Diverter Valves are designed to prevent cross contamination of the bulk material by the seal materials as well as provide low leakage between the legs.

The Young Industries, Inc. Rotary Plug Diverter Valves are used in a wide variety of pneumatic conveyor applications. The valve can be used in either a positive or negative pneumatic conveyors and gravity flow applications.

The Rotary Plug Diverter Valves are designed with each diversion leg offset 30° from the straight through leg. The Rotary Plug Valve provide the lowest leakage is the industry.

Gravity Diverters

Rotary vane and blade diverter valves are used in gravity discharge convey lines to eliminate product and dust carry-over between discharge leg and idle leg of the diverter valve.

Blade Diverters

The Blade Diverter Valves are designed for mounting on a gravity discharge line to divert from a single inlet to one straight through leg or one divert leg and were cross over dusting is minimized.

The Young Industries, Inc. Blade Diverter Valves are used in a wide variety of gravity flow bulk material applications were a minimum dusting between the legs is acceptable. The Blade Diverter Valves are designed with one diversion leg offset either 30° or 45° from the inlet leg.
