Young Industries offers a wide range of equipment for customer testing. There are some cases where testing cannot be performed at the test facility in Muncy, PA. We offer several systems that are available for “on-site’ testing.
Blade Diverter Valve
Young Industries has been manufacturing Gravity Flow Diverter Valves for 70+ years. Our Blade Diverter Valves have a single inlet with two discharge connections. This valve uses a gate that has a flexible wiper to divert from one discharge to the other. These valves have a sheet-metal housing with an option for round or square connections. The sheet metal housing is rugged 10 ga. (0.1345”) minimum thickness so the body is flat and the gate to housing seal is tight.

Young Industries TransFlow® Pads have been used in many applications, in various sizes and shapes, for all types of hoppers and bins. We recently had a customer that uses our standard pads, make an unusual request.
18″ Model HC Rotary Valve
Young Industries recently designed and manufactured a Size 18” Model HC Rotary Valve with special direct drive arrangement. This valve is to replace an existing rotary valve that was originally supplied by another manufacturer. Our customer has several Young Industries Rotary Valve’s in other areas of the plant that are giving good service and came to us for this valve because they wanted the reliability of a Young Rotary Valve.
